I remember living in Chicago hoping and wishing for the day to come when I would be a licensed cosmetologist and own my own salon space. That didn’t come easy for me. I failed my cosmetology exam twice and studied hard with every fiber in my body to pass on the third try. Now, I have put a plan in place to create the life I want. Was it easy? No. Is it worth it? ABSOLUTELY! I now am licensed in 2 states and have my Cosmetology Instructor Certificate to teach what I love to do! Being patient and kind to myself helped make this process easier for me.
